TEAM'S STEADY PROGRESS CONTINUES!
The 2006/07 campaign saw the team head their division from day one, before eventually finishing six points clear of their nearest rivals at the end of the season. The team was then promoted to the Epsom & Ewell League Premier Division for 2007/08, responding magnificently to the tough challenge of top flight football for the first time, finishing 7th. The management team continue to acknowledge that only by us all supporting each other, have we been able to progress so well.

As our regular visitors will know, the 2008 / 2009 season was the last for Cobham Colts. Our squad of players are all now 16 years of age and will be moving up into the Youth set up of the club for the start of 2009 / 2010.
This website was established in 2004 as a unique way to follow the progress of one team who were established under a unique concept. That was for the management and coaches to work with a small group of players, many of whom had been rejected by other teams in the area, and to work with them through the years. Loyalty to the group of players was the key with new players only being brought in to replace those who decided to move away, or give up football for whatever reason.
After six years together, the team moved up four levels to finish the 2008 / 2009 season in third place at Premier Division level. A most creditable performance for the management team, the players and all who supported them along the way. Everyone should be very proud!
But now we have sadly reached the end of this particular journey. The site will remain open for another month to enable anyone who wishes to do so an opportunity to look back at some of the archive material and re-live some magnificent memories again.
